1st starting of ADMT s1.02 storyline for Energy

Storyline - Energy Conservation
(Teacher is teaching the boy, and the boy gets very bored)
Boy: Yawn
(Boy falls asleep and dreams)
(Sound of Water Dripping from the roof)
(Boy Looks up and water falls from roof)
(Turns on the his mac-book and there is “Breaking News” of Global Warming)
(He is suddenly washed away from the school and is plunged into a flooded wasteland that is Singapore.)
He gets washed into a whirlpool and wakes up still sitting in his chair in class S102 with his teacher pulling him by the ear.
Teacher: Yes John?
Boy: Sorry Mrs Tan, I won’t do it again
Teacher: Okay, go for recess.
(The Whole Class leaves for recess, the boy runs out of the door)
(The Screen Blacks Out for 3 seconds)
The screen re-whites and the boy comes back to the class room to switch off the fans and air-con machines

Reflection

Dear Pupils of S102,

1. What were 3 of the highlights of the Orientation and the last 2 weeks?
Icebreaker games, Rock Climbing, Abseiling.

2. What were 3 of the "low" moments of Orientation and the last 2 weeks
Area Cleaning and Not getting to eat lunch on time.

3. What are 3 of my greatest takeaways/lessons from the Orientation and the last 2 weeks?
Climbing up the rock wall. Climbing up the ladder for abseiling, and saying the cheer while going down the abseiling wall the 2nd time.

4. What did you learn about yourself in the last 2 weeks?
I am Afraid of heights, learning how to overcome it. Co-operating with others and going up the platform to perform the skit.

5. What are you looking forward in 2011?
Learning new skills on the learning device, doing more group work projects. Doing more presentations.

A brief touch to the hand: This captures your attention and forms a quick connection. But toward employees, make sure the action doesn't appear condescending.

Communication-Homework

1. Why is communication important?

I personally think that communication is very important as communication is a form or way to err communicate and interact with one another, without communication the whole world would be out of order, and there will be chaos.

In fact without communication I would not be typing this out right now, nobody will understand.

We will be the dumbest species in the universe. ( that's what i think)

2. What is/are your favourite forms of communication? Why?

Erm... this would be verbal- communication...gestures..body language..facial expressions..eye contact...every single twitch any part of your body can mean something. eg. A little rolling of the eye can mean.. bored.. ignoring u..restless....

3. How do you decide which form of communication to use in a situation?

Erm...Depends on the situation..eg.Like if I was a teacher and students are talking at the wrong time out of control I would use body language by folding up my arm and waiting for them..

4. What difficulties do you face in communicating with others?

Some of other people won't understand all the forms of communication so we should always know when to use forms of communication at different times.

I also want to add that learning more about communication and using it at the right time and way can actually capture your audiences and advertise things better.

Day 2: End-of-Day Reflection

I have done a groupwork making a tower which must be atleast 30cm tall and withstand 10 marbles!!!:D
It was so Fun!!:D Our Class tower got 2nd place!! :D
Also did mac attack 2 !!today
It was so fun we learned how to use the keynote though I already know but still learned more about it and learned more gadgets and tools in KEYNOTE.

I learned i should participate more in group work by giving more ideas helping with getting information....
I should also co-operate with students more:D so that we will not quarrel during group work:D I enjoyed the activities line up today for us very very extremely much. :D
As everybody has their own opinions! So we should always discusst about what to do 1st before starting in a hurry...I am very happy to be in SST a student in my class... I LOVE it here!!<3>
